Spotlight on ‘Act of God’ director Mitch Haley
After more than 2,000 years of self-imposed silence, God is coming to Fort Myers to answer some of the deepest questions plaguing mankind since Creation. It happens at Lab Theater, whose home is fittingly an old church. And the forum is An Act of God, an outrageous comedy from the mind of playwright David Javerbaum. Miguel Cintron stars in the role of the Almighty, with Rob Green and Dave Yudowitz playing his archangels, Gabriel and Michael.
Mitch Haley directs.
Lab Theater audiences are familiar with Haley’s work on the boards as an actor. Most recently, he played the role of Marc in Yasmina Reza’s Art in February of 2016. Other past performances with the company include Death of a Salesman, Five Kinds of Silence, Women Beware Women, and Talk Radio. A Fort Myers resident since 1982, Mitch has had the opportunity to perform with a number of local theater companies, including Theatre Conspiracy, Florida Repertory Theatre, The Pirate Playhouse, The Old Schoolhouse Theater and Cultural Park Theater in a wide variety of roles.
