Spotlight on ‘Musical Comedy Murders’ actor Madelaine Weymouth

The Musical Comedy Murders of the 1940s is on stage at Lab Theater now through March 31. Actor Madelaine Weymouth plays the role of Nikki.

Madelaine is excited to work with the talented cast and tireless crew that directors Carmen Crussard and Annette Trossbach have assembled for this production. Hayes’ previous roles at Lab include two staged readings: the titular role in Julia and Callie in Stop Kiss.

Prior to moving to Southwest Florida, she attended Ohio University and was a company member of the Lost Flamingo Theater Company. Credits there included Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, The Dining Room, Blithe Spirit, August: Osage County, Hearts Like Fists, and Bad Seed. She was awarded the company’s first ever Collegiate Achievement Award, and was nominated for Apollo Awards from the Hershey Theatre for roles of Catherine in The Heiress and Kate in All My Sons.

She thanks her family for making the trek across the country to see her performance and her friends for being endlessly supportive.
