Michael Massari
Michael Massari is an adjunct professor in the Theatre Department at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. He holds an MFA in Acting from the Professional Actor’s Training Program at the University of Washington. Michael has performed in regional theatres across the country, including: Colorado Shakespeare, Dallas Theatre Center, Florida Studio, Ft. Worth Shakespeare, Idaho Repertory, Intiman, PCPA and Seattle Children’s Theatre. He also appeared as the Mystery Man in the 2011 drama Dreams Awake starring Erin Gray.
He is the former co-founding Artistic Director of the Mt. Shasta REP and has directed more than thirty productions. On the technical side, Massari has created more than forty set and lighting designs.
He makes his Lab Theater debut in David Mamet’s, Race.
Michael is a former professional mountain guide of 20+ years. He also has an MA (Religion) at Palmer Seminary. He is married to Amy L. Massari, who serves Florida Rep’s resident stage manager and ensemble member.
