Myrtle October
Myrtle October plays the part of Simone in Dorothy Marcic’s SISTAS: the Musical. In addition to acting, she is a singer and author. In the latter capacity, Myrtle writes and publishes children’s books. As a singer, she performs “whatever my soul conjures up with remnants of spoken word melodies in acoustic soul.”
Born in Florida but raised in New York, October has more than 12 years of experience in nonprofit work and the insurance
industry. She received a management certificate and Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from University of Phoenix. She earned a master’s degree in public administration and certificate in nonprofit management from Barry University. Myrtle is a 2-15 Resident Health & Life (Including Annuities & Variable Contracts) Agent Licensee and has served over 1,000 families with self -direction (Medicaid Waiver) in her region. As a member of the National Organization for Human Services, she believes in advocacy, 
promoting collaboration, emotional and spiritual health. She also offers referral links for ACA and educating your community about Medicare of which she offers a few major carriers. “I strongly believe in family, multiple streams of income, and community involvement. So what you might see as “all over the place” is actually me just living my best life out loud.”

About the Author
Tom Hall is both an amateur artist and aspiring novelist who writes art quest thrillers. He is in the final stages of completing his debut novel titled "Art Detective," a story that fictionalizes the discovery of the fabled billion-dollar Impressionist collection of Parisian art dealer Josse Bernheim-Jeune, thought by many to have perished during World War II when the collection's hiding place, Castle de Rastignac in southern France, was destroyed by the Wehrmacht in reprisal for attacks made by members of the Resistance operating in the area. A former tax attorney, Tom holds a bachelor's degree as well as both a juris doctorate and masters of laws in taxation from the University of Florida. Tom lives in Estero, Florida with his fiancee, Connie, and their four cats.
