Valerie Prottsman
Valerie Prottsman appears in the role of Kitty in The Drowsy Chaperone for Fort Myers Theatre. She was previously seen at Fort Myers Theatre in as Jovie in Elf the Musical and in the ensemble of Beauty and the Beast. Both represented Valerie’s first foray into community theater. However, she’s no stranger to performing in front of crowds, having been in both show choir and marching band.
She credits friend and employer, Terry Lavy, for persuading her to 
venture into theater and she was, predictably, hooked after working with Director/Choreographer Robin Dawn Ryan in Beauty and the Beast. However, she eagerly tackled the role of Jovie as Elf had been her favorite Christmas movie since she was a child watching holiday movies with the family – “along with National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.”
Among Prottsman’s varied talents and skills, she is a certified pistol instructor, 
“mainly because women don’t like to be trained by men.”

Tom Hall is both an amateur artist and aspiring novelist who writes art quest thrillers. He is in the final stages of completing his debut novel titled "Art Detective," a story that fictionalizes the discovery of the fabled billion-dollar Impressionist collection of Parisian art dealer Josse Bernheim-Jeune, thought by many to have perished during World War II when the collection's hiding place, Castle de Rastignac in southern France, was destroyed by the Wehrmacht in reprisal for attacks made by members of the Resistance operating in the area. A former tax attorney, Tom holds a bachelor's degree as well as both a juris doctorate and masters of laws in taxation from the University of Florida. Tom lives in Estero, Florida with his fiancee, Connie, and their four cats.
