Naples New Year’s Art Fair
Name: 29th Naples New Year’s Art Fair
Date: Saturday, January 4 and Sunday, January 5, 2025
Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Place: Cambier Park and Park Street in downtown Naples.
National Ranking: Naples’ New Year’s Art Fair is consistently ranked among the nation’s top fine art fairs by Sunshine Artist Magazine. This annual outdoor event is also recognized on the Art Fair Source Book’s BLUE CHIP 100 Fine Art Events list and Top 7 in the nation for fine art sales.
Description: Because of its national ranking and the beautiful weather in southwest Florida during this time of year, the Naples Art Institute’s New Year’s Art Fair draws some of the finest artists in the country. Last year, 250 national and local artists displayed artworks valued collectively at more than $15 million in categories ranging from drawings and original oils and acrylics on canvas, panel and galvanized aluminum to watercolors on paper, 2D and 3D mixed media, limited edition prints, photography, digital art, metal sculpture, wood carvings, ceramics, hand-crafted jewelry, fiber, leather goods and wearable art, and more. There’s lots of art for every taste and pocketbook.
Festivalgoers: Because of the quality and number of participating artists coupled with the typically-mild weather and proximity to Fifth Avenue restaurants, cafes and high-end retail stores and galleries, the New Year’s Art Fair draws 15-20,000 sophisticated and art-savvy patrons each year. Unlike a gallery or museum, a fine art festival such as this one offers art enthusiasts the unique opportunity to meet the artists in person; commission a specific piece; ask questions about technique; learn the sources of their inspiration; and purchase fine works of art directly from the artists.
Cost: Admission is free.
Parking: Parking is not a problem as there is plenty of free parking abutting and within walking distance of Cambier Park.
Organizer: Naples Art Institute, a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1954 and whose mission is to promote and advance interest and participation in the visual arts.
