Friday’s schedule of BIFF films in the Hinman Auditorium
On Friday, January 27, the Bonita Springs International Film Festival will screen two feature films in the Hinman Auditorium.
My Love, Don’t Cross that River – 2:30 p.m.
Day Two of the Second Annual Bonita Springs International Film Festival opens at 2:30 p.m. in the Hinman Auditorium with the feature film, My Love, Don’t Cross that River. Shot in 2014 in South Korea, it is an 86-minute drama/romance/documentary that brings viewers an intimate portrait of an elderly Korean couple, who are still very much in love after 76 years of marriage but must now face the need to say goodbye as the husband’s health deteriorates and he passes away.
Mustang – 5:30 p.m.
At 5:30 p.m., it’s Mustang, a 97-minute 2015 French drama about five orphaned sisters who are seen playing with boys on their way home from school. Their scandalized guardians transform their home into a prison while they work to arrange marriages for the sisters.
