‘Ride the Cyclone’ play dates, times and ticket information
Play: Ride the Cyclone
Book, Music, Lyrics: Jacob Richmond and Brooke Maxwell
Genre: Dark Comedy
Synopsis: In a dilapidated warehouse at an abandoned amusement park, an aging mechanical fortune-teller called The Amazing Karnak comes to life, and brings with him a ghostly choir of five deceased high-schoolers – all members of the Saint Cassian Chamber Choir, who were tragically killed on the park’s Cyclone roller coaster. Each character in the choir is given the chance to share their hopes, dreams, and regrets through one final song, with Karnak returning the most worthy of the five for a second chance to “ride the cyclone” that is life. Ride the Cyclone explores themes of mortality, identity, and the universal human experience.
